" Olio" the yearbook for Amherst College, class of 1948. Amherst College is located in Amherst, Massachusetts. The 1948 yearbook reflects the changes from wartime to peace, with an expansion of the student body from 800 to 1200. Veterans predominated on campus and a G. I. village was erected. New faculty was hired to keep the ratio of faculty to student at a high level.

My dad was an Amherst grad Cum Laude 1948. Amherst College was the love of his of his life besides his family. My mother and father attended many reunions with great pride and great memories. We have quite a collection of all things Amherst, so if you have any interest pleased check out our other items.

My father was also head of the Amherst Alumni Association for the State of Michigan for many years.
