Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport (Wold-Chamberlain Field).
History of MSP
The airport was established when several local groups decided to take control of the former bankrupt Twin City Speedway race track. They gave the airport its original name, Speedway Field. A bit later, in 1921, the airport was renamed "Wold-Chamberlain Field" in honor of two pilots Ernest Groves Wold and Cyrus Foss Chamberlain. In 1948 Wold-Chamberlain Field was named MSP.
Made of felt measures 27 1/2" x 9″.
Red tails are 4".
This pennant is from our large collection of vintage sports, travel and college pieces.
