This tie is from our large collection of vintage neck ties.
This happens to be one of my very favorites.
Length: 52″ Width: 1 3/4″ at the thinnest it is 1".
Muted shade of deep burgundy, black, and a blueish gray.
The handsome labels on the inside of the tie.
This tie is in excellent condition.
About the store this tie was purchase from in the 1950's: "Ellie Conason", a popular crafts and contemporary design store on Post Road in White Plains. The store closed in 1981, Ellie then went to work at the Hudson River Museum, where she created a craft gallery and curated its exhibitions.
Included new tie box…..nice for a gift presentation.
