Vintage 1970 Bridgetown Barbados Bay Street Colored Lithograph Art FF Hikinson Artist Street Scene On Textured Paper
This gorgeous handmade lithograph is from my trip to Barbados in 1970. We stayed at the magnificent Sam Lord's Castle on the Atlantic side of the island.
We have three of this artist's Barbados street scene lithographs up in our Etsy Shop. Each sold separately.
In the lower right hand corner is written "BAY STREET BARBADOS".
The Bay Street Esplanade also overlooks Carlisle Bay which is home to many shipwrecks and is a favorite spot for scuba divers!
The artist name is a bit hard to discern. I have tried to research the artist online to no avail. Nonetheless, the lithographs truly capture the essence of Barbados in the 1970's. So much detail to the piece.
