Vintage 1970 Bridgetown Barbados Constitution River Colored Lithograph Art FF Hikinson Artist Street Scene On Textured Paper
This gorgeous handmade lithograph is from my trip to Barbados in 1970. We stayed at the magnificent Sam Lord's Castle on the Atlantic side of the island.
We have three of this artist's Barbados street scene lithographs up in our Etsy Shop. Each sold separately.
This fabulous scene is of the Constitution River that flows through Bridgetown in St. Michael. The Parliament Building is in the background. A fishing boat is named "BARBADOS".
The artist name is a bit hard to discern. I have tried to research the artist online to no avail. Nonetheless, the lithographs truly capture the essence of Barbados in the 1970's. So much detail to the piece.
Fantastic colors. Perfect for framing.
