Karen Carter was a family friend in the 1970', 80's, and 90's.

She was a Detroit artist who also was the official artist for the Mackinaw Island Sailboat Race in the 1980's.

This beautiful watercolor is just spectacular.

Hand signed: K Carter.

The subject matter is charming, the table looking out the windows with lovely curtains,

The table is set with wine glasses, wine, embroidered tablecloth, fresh apples, and floral arrangements.

So much intricate detail in every stroke of her brush.
