Original box, tissue and receipt for Mrs. Charles (my mom) from Jacobson’s in Ann Arbor, MI in the early 1970’s.
On the top of the box in gold lettering: Edouard Jerrold from the Greek Workshop.
On the front of the box as well & written made in Greece.
There is writing on one side & the picture of the shoe with part of the price tag.
The box does show some wear 8 1/2" x 12" x4".
These shoe are fantastic.
The hand embroidery is done right on the suede.
On the lining of the left shoe: By The Greek Workshop Edouard Jerrold
On the lining of the right shoe: JACOBSON
On the box and on the receipt is 5 B & G82-856
The suede portion of the shoe toe to opeining is 4 1/2″. The opening is about 2″. The platform at the heel is 3 wide & the platform in the front of the shoe is 2″. From the toe to the heel it is 9″. In gold lettering around the inside of the strap: 5 B 217.
These shoes are in fabulous condition.
The maroon shade of suede is stunning.
The wear only showing on the bottom of the shoe itself except for one small spot on the back of the left shoe.
The hand embroidery on these shoes is just beautiful.
The colors are brillant and the stitch work is an art all in itself, museum quality.
