My dad was an Amherst grad Cum Laude 1948. Amherst College was the love of his of his life besides his family. My mother and father attended many reunions with great pride and great memories. We have quite a collection of all things Amherst, so if you have any interest pleased check out our other items.
My father was also head of the Amherst Alumni Association for the State of Michigan for many years.

This program/book is an amazing piece of American and Amherst history. Not to mention the President of the United States and Robert Frost. "Mr. MCLOY, President Plimpton, Mr. MacLeish, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,"
Truly a wonderful time piece. This took place on October 26, 1963. Sadly and tragically, President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
The condition is very good with a bit of discoloration on the front and back covers.
