Vtg 1970 Heritage Clock Co. Baby Boy Diorama Scene Colonial Craftsmen Pewter Workshop NIB

This one of a kind, exquisite clock is from our collection of all things vintage.

It is in the original box with the original tissue paper. Original instructions in original envelop. Indicating it was Model #105. Clock #57.

This clock hasn't been taken out of the box since 1970 (just for photos & to make sure it still works).

So unique. It measures 12" x 7" x 3". The rectangle shape is beautifully finished in dark hard wood. The clock opens up wide. There are two brass hinges to swing open the clock. One brass hook to keep the clock together. An amazing diorama of a baby boys room is just precious. So detailed and totally handmade.

The diorama consists of a little red head child in the corner wearing a pink dress, red shoes, and is holding a blue ball. A light baby blue and white dresser/changing table. On top of the changing table is a box of" STORK BRAND DIAPERS" and two baby bottles. An adorable white flower shaped rug with a ceramic kitten on it. The single shelf holds a mini ceramic teddy bear and "Our Baby" book. There is a white lace and baby blue fabric covered bassinette with a baby blue ribbon bow. Over the bassinette is a blue, white and pink "Birth Certificate". Name - Date - Weight - with two baby imprints of a tiny foot. The name signed underneath is hard to discern. Maybe "Johnston", could be the artist's name.

The clock portion is pristine and works fine. Everything is in excellent condition.

The writing on the inside of the box "Et Cetera" was a unique shop in the Fisher Bldg. in Detroit, Michigan in the 1970's. That is where we purchased this gorgeous piece in 1970.

Maker J. Curtis Williams, Sr.:
Williams entered the workforce full-time in the cotton mill. In his early 20s, he left the mill to enter the furniture industry where he eventually created his own unique line of grandfather clocks as the founder and CEO of Heritage Clock Company in Lexington.

So much to tell about this wonderful piece. Perfect for that special baby shower or gender reveal.
