My dad was an Amherst grad Cum Laude 1948. Amherst College was the love of his of his life besides his family. My mother and father attended many reunions with great pride and great memories. My father was also head of the Amherst Alumni Association for the State of Michigan for many years.
President Kennedy was just at Amherst College on October 26, 1963. It was his last speech before the assassination. On the last page: President Plimpton Lauds Mrs. Kennedy.
This newspaper is in great condition. It was sent to my father when we lived in New York City.
