My father,  Dr.  Martin L. Charles,  was the Assistant

Medical Director

and

Chief Internist at Cape Kennedy Space Center

1964-1967.  

At that point he was also directing the

medical program for Pan

American Guided Missile Range

Division at the Cape including medical surveillance of the

Astronauts at

Cape Kennedy

and all down range

facilities and personal.
