Vintage 1946 Christmas Original ERZGEBIRGE EXPERTIC Music Box
Handmade and hand painted in the German Democratic Republic.
Santa (Father Christmas) has his sack of toys over his shoulder pulling an angel in an adorable sleigh with a delicate gold string….Included in the procession are five other charming angels….just exquisite with incredible details.
There are three majestic evergreen trees in the middle of the piece.
This stunning piece plays a lovely melody….almost like a lullaby.
It measures 9.5″ x 11″ x 9.5″.
It is in gorgeous condition (two angels are missing one wing, the sleigh is missing two candles).
We are the original owners from our vast collection of vintage Christmas items and ornaments.
The base of the wooden piece has it’s original label and stamped in blue ink “5 8 1”.
At the base there are 6 round gold circle supports and measures 8″.
