Vintage 1960's "Sandi at", Handmade Moroccan Incense Burner Made In Morocco Brass & Copper Two Piece Burner
We brought this stunning piece back from our trip to Morocco in 1965.
The original label: Made in Morocco is still intact on the base of the piece.
Measurements: 19 1/2" From handle to handle 16" Without the handles 9" Base
Along the main piece there are 16 raised embellishment decorations. One is in the shape of a flower. The other is a unique symbol. There is a 2" embellishment that "drips" down from the edges in a triangular design. On the bottom of the piece there are 5 embellished flowers.
There is a 8" opening in which the second piece rests in. This upper piece is 8" as it fits in perfectly. On this piece there are 5 flowers with 5 thin oval "cut out" areas. It's opening at the top is 4 1/2" wide.
This piece is in excellent condition. We consider it to be museum quality.
Handmade and hand hammered. It is just spectacular. It weighs 10 lbs.
