Vintage 1973 Ceramic Terracotta Mayan Figurine Female with A Large Chest Made In Mexico
This piece comes from our collection of Mayan and Aztec figurines that were purchased in Mexico in 1973.
The terracotta figure has tremendous details. She has a delightful smile and a great headress with earrings. Her necklace is short and simple. The fine motif carved to give character to her dress is wonderful.
Handmade and hand carved.
This extremely handsome looking figurine is 16" tall and 8" across at the shoulders.
On the bottom of the base is "Mexico" and the number 6 written in purple ink.
Excellent condition.
