Ken Gore (AMERICAN ARTIST) 1911-1990

This piece is beautifully framed. Hand written on the back "IN THE ROCKIES" by the artist as well as signed on the front of the piece.

KEN GORE was an East Gloucester artist. Born in 1911 in Southern Illinois. He received his art training at the Meinzinger Art School, Detroit, Michigan, augmenting this study with week-end classes with George Rich, a pupil of the famous American painter, Robert Henri Ken also studied with Aldro T. Hibbard.

Several art association memberships including the Rockport Art Association, Rockport, Massachusetts.

We have several letters and personal correspondence from Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gore dating from March 1976-March 1980 to my parents.
