This unique "turtle" is from our large collection of all things vintage.
Purchased on our 1970 trip to South America.
We could never understand why they would present this interesting work of art with a slit at the top to clearly make it look like a "piggy bank". Who would want to destroy this to get your money out?
There are a series of grid markings on the top of the work.
