Absolutely stunning pair of one of a kind cufflinks stamped STERLING on the back of the face and on the connected round stud on each piece.
The face is 3/4" x 1/2". The chain is 1/2".
The black engraving of a Roman Soldier is just striking. Below his portrait is his saber. Set in sterling silver, the elaborate design is stunning.
Chain link backed cuff links features two commonly identical heads connected by a short, elegant chain. This set has the face and the back not identical. This style of cufflink usually has a bit of a looser fastening than traditional backing cuff links, as the chain itself is considered a part of the unique style which is to be seen and shown off.
Very handsome cufflinks that happen to be fine handmade art.
