This jacket is from our large collection of vintage men's clothing.
The label in this jacket is just spectacular, hand sewn in with white stitching.
Amazing construction and tailoring. The shoulders have a slight shoulder pad.
The lapel and at the wrist cuff are both in black satin. The widest point of the lapel is 2". The satin cuff is 1 1/2".
The four button closure in the front are black pearlescent as well as the single button at each wrist. There is an extra button on the inside of the jacket.
The two of the three front pockets also have a slim line of satin.
Made in the U. S. A. by the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Of America with the label on the inside of the inside right pocket. It is dated: DEC 4 1968. 4o REG
Joseph Horne was a fantastic department store in Pittsburgh back in the day. It was one of our favorite places to visit and shop.
Double vented in the back and fully lined.
The jacket is in excellent condition.
