This painting is from our large collection of vintage art.

Karen Carter was a family friend in the 1970', 80's, and 90's.

Her card is found on the back of the piece.

She was a Detroit artist who also was the official artist for the Mackinaw Island Sailboat Race in the 1980's.

This beautiful watercolor is just spectacular.

9" x 11 1/2" Framed - Image is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Hand signed in the right hand corner: K. Carter.

The subject matter is charming, the yellow finch, super imposed on the painting, is stunning.

The male blue bird, also super imposed is done in life like brilliant colors.

Below on the painting are some flowers and in the background, water or an ocean.

So much intricate detail in every stroke of her brush.
