Vtg 1970s Solid Brass Belt Buckle Unique Abstract Shape Signed LAURIE 1970 & 2 Hallmarks

This belt buckle comes from my family's eclectic collection of vintage belt buckles.

I'm trying to be creative with my description but can't quite figure out how to describe the unique shape.

Very unusual and quite different in shape and construction.

Could be male or female in terms of style.
