We have a very rich history of this fantastic artist. Beginning in 2011-2017, I have been in touch with the Galleria Gagliardi in San Gimignano, Italy who have shown Miele's work in many exhibitions.
In an email dated July 18, 2011 from the Galleria:
"Ten years after the death of Vittorio Miele we wanted to celebrate with the Foundation of Frosinone Mastroianni, his great work. In the Villa Comunale de Frosinone was staged a beautiful show with about 50 works, all masterpieces, oil on canvas of the period '70/ '80 and at the same time in our gallery 40 drawings in pencil and ink.
The two shows have had a visitation beyond all expectations, a real tribute to a great teacher who even now is able to convey through his works, deep emotions.
Both the press and the internet have published several articles on this important event.
Vittorio Miele is considered one of the greatest Italian artists of the 1900 and worthy of great collections and museums."
The red "vittorio miele" booklet is 16 pages. It is all in Italian except one page by an American Art Critic, Marilyn Finkel from The Eccentric newspaper from Detroit, Michigan dated 1976.
The Testo is by Maestro Pietro Annigoni. The Traduttore is Prof.ssa Elena Rossi.
The Fotografie is by Arch Mauro Pagnanelli (a very important artist, born in Milan in 1910, where he lived, 1988). The text is a beautiful criticism, very touching for an exhibition made by Vittorio Miele. Apparently, this copy of the red booklet is the only one known to have Pietro Annigoni writings. There is a Museum Pietro Annigoni in Florence.
Poesie by Rocco Zani (his son).
The Stampa S.P.C. - Stabillimenti Poligrafici di Cassino - 1990.
On page 13, there is an "Autoritratto 1974 Olio su tavola" and a note by Miele.
You will receive a COPY of the Vittorio Miele red booklet in color.
There is an extensive history of this artist. Please see the last photo that is a full page biography.
