Vtg Handmade Art Fine Pottery Vessel Vase Shades Of Blue Hand Glazed Inside & Out Signed M 75 Unglazed Base
This gorgeous vase/vessel is from our large collection of vintage pottery and fine ceramics.
This one of a kind handmade ceramic pottery was purchased from the Coach House Gallery that was on Van Dyke Place in Indian Village, Detroit, Michigan in the early 1970’s. Nona Herzog owned the gallery. Nona and Arthur Herzog were my parents best friends.
Nona was very active and involved with local artists as well as the Scarab Club downtown. The local artists were many….Mary Lark, Johanna Haas, Nahler, Bill Evans, Karen Carter, Chars Herzog III to name a few. Her gallery also had artists from around the world come and display their art such as Vagh, Miele, and many more.
The vase is glazed inside and out. Stunning shades of blue.
Weighs: 5. 5lbs.
At the top of the piece there are three ripples or waves.
This piece is signed M 75 on the unglazed base.
It is one of a kind and is just spectacular.
