This nativity scene is from our large collection of vintage Christmas items.
Absolutely stunning. So much tremendous detail. The artwork is really amazing.
This amazing piece of folk art is one of a kind.
The original paper label is on the base: Made in Ecuador.
11 1/2" x 5". When the doors are opened it is approx. 10" wide.
The outside is meticulously hand carved in the shape of a bird. It's design is beautiful. It has two "feet" that allows it to stand on its own. It has a long beak 2".
The two doors are attached with small pieces of 1" leather straps to make the hinges. When you open the hand painted doors, there appears "straw" above the Nativity Scene to act as the stable.
The figurines are so colorful and placed perfectly.
So whimsical and yet a fantastic presentation of this unique Nativity Scene.
Excellent condition.
