Vtg Japanese Geta Wood Kimono Sandals Artisan Craftsman 9" Red Black Lacquered Hand Painted Floral Design Two 1" Platform Sandals Shoes
We have a large collection of vintage Japanese pieces.
This pair of traditional Japanese sandals is just outstanding.
They are 9" long x 3 1/4".
On the double red thong portion, it is decorated with white paint to look like bamboo on the red background.
Double 1" platforms.
The under side of the shoe shows the gold metal piece (1 1/4") that secures the top of the red and white thong portion of the sandal. The gold metal has an embossed logo of some kind on it. Hard to discern.
The back of the second platform is showing white thick cords wrapped around each other.
The construction of this pair of sandals is absolutely fantastic.
