The Havenick family have owned Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Racing and Poker and the nearly 100 acres of land it sits on for nearly 70 years.
Demolition began last week on the 250,000-square-foot grandstand at the former Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track in Bonita Springs. The dog track closed May 3, 2020, after operating for more than 60 years.
